Light shines through this programme of sacred music, with Herbert Howells’ Requiem at its heart.
The evening is underpinned by Bach’s motets, the apotheosis of baroque choral counterpoint, alongside shorter works by English Tudor composers, and the contemporary Scottish composer James MacMillan.
